I, too, loved that Terry Gross episode on Talk Easy. And my friend stayed at Casa Lawa for a pasta retreat, and he had opinions about some rooms being better than others, FYI. But it's still an Italian treat regardless.
Oooh I am very curious about the retreats too! I love Talk Easy because of the mountains of research he does ahead of the interviews - I have no idea where he finds the time to read every book/movie/magazine feature
